Peter Hedblom
European Tour
Peter turned professional in 1988 and currently plays on the European
Tour although he is widely recognized for his outstanding performances
in the last two U.S. Opens. In 2005, Peter posted the lowest score
ever in an Open at Pinehurst No. 2. In 2006, Peter recorded a hole
in one in the third round on the third hole. He followed that by
an Eagle on the fifth hole.
Career Highlights:
- He won the 2001 Moroccan Open Open
- He also has three wins on the Challenge Tour.
- He represented Sweden in the 1996 Alfred Dunhill Cup.
Nicole Perrot
LPGA Tour
Nicole began her career on the LPGA tour in 2003. In 2005, she
won the Longs Drug Challenge by producing a record round of 64.
She also became a Rolex First-Time Winner and the first Chilean-born
player to win on the LPGA Tour. In the same year, she also achieved
three additional top-10 finishes: tied for fifth at the SBS Open
at Turtle Bay, where she recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one
in the second round; tied for seventh at the LPGA Takefuji Classic;
and tied for ninth at the HSBC Women’s World Match Play Championship.
Other career achievements:
- In 2004, won two events on the FUTURES Tour (GMAC FUTURES Golf
Classic and The Albany FUTURES Golf Classic) and posted four additional
top-10 finishes
- In 2003, competed in seven Futures Tour events; did not retain
her LPGA status for the 2004 season.
- In 2002, turned professional in April; recorded three top-10
finishes on the Futures Tour; tied for 65th at the LPGA Final
Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2003 season.
Amateur:
In 2001, Perrot won the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship
and was runner-up at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.
Suzann Pettersen
Suzann is from Oslo, Norway and turned professional in 2000. She currently plays on the LPGA, finishing #2 in the world rankings in 2007.
2007 Highlights:
- Became a Rolex first time winner at the Michelob Ultra at Kingsmill in 2007
- Won her second tournament and first major championship at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship where she crosses the $1million earnings mark
- Won 3 of 4 events entered in October 2007: Longs Drugs Challenge; Nana Bank Championship and Honda LPGA Thailand.
- 6 Top 10 finishes
- Finished second to Lorena Ochoa on the LPGA Official Money List with more than $1.8 million in season earnings, which nearly doubled her career earnings through 2006.
Shanshan Jenny Feng
Shanshan Feng enjoyed a well-decorated amateur career that included 9 wins in her home country of China. In 2007, as an amateur, Jenny tied for ninth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season, turning professional immediately following the final round.
Amateur Career Highlights
- She won the China Youth Championship and the China Youth Open in 2004
- She was a three-time winner of the China Amateur Tournament (2004-06).
- Feng was the 2006 China Women’s Amateur Open Champion.
- Feng was a member of the 2006 All-China Championship Team and also earned medalist honors at the event.
- She was named Golfweek’s Top Chinese Amateur in 2007 after winning four tournaments on the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) in 2007.
- Feng also qualified for the 2007 U.S. Women’s Open.
